I have completely fallen head over heels in love with silk and it's no wonder why. Silk helps regulate temperature, keeping your cool in the summer and warm in the winter, is hypoallergenic and so luxurious. This silk bandana is handmade with luxurious, shiny charmeuse silk and hand dyed in my small kitchen in the San Francisco Bay Area. Plant dyes create a gorgeous multi-dimensional living color that sparkles in the sunlight and elevates this everyday item to something magical and luxurious.
Dyed with Dyed with Himalayan Rhubarb, Madder Root and Onion Skins
Measures 21" x 21" - your typical bandana size, creating a fab chic look. This size can be worn around the neck, your bag or wrist, in your hair or used as a sacred altar cloth
Hand-rolled hem for a clean, seamless finish
Natural bundle dying is a slow but wonderful process. Each bandana is dyed with plants, bugs and minerals which are carefully placed on each individual bandana, tightly wrapped, steamed and left to rest for over 24 hours; a slow, beautiful process to produce the natural color you see here. This means that every piece is unique and no two are alike!
