I have completely fallen head over heels in love with silk and it's no wonder why. Silk helps regulate temperature, keeping your cool in the summer and warm in the winter, is hypoallergenic and so luxurious. This silk bandana is handmade with luxurious, shiny charmeuse silk and hand dyed in my small kitchen in the San Francisco Bay Area. Plant dyes create a gorgeous multi-dimensional living color that sparkles in the sunlight and elevates this everyday item to something magical and luxurious.

Hand-rolled hem for a clean, seamless finish
Natural dying is a slow but wonderful process. Each dye bath is made with beautiful plant materials which can take days to extract color, making it a long process to produce the natural color you see here. Please note that due to the nature of plant dyes, no two items are the same. Plant dyes can create subtle variations on fabric, so do not expect a completely solid, one dimensional color - I like to call these colorful flecks plant kisses!
